About this SMS program
TexasBusinessDispute.com, a trade name of Prefcap Law (principal office: Houston, Texas; operated by lead attorney Reza Chawla), operates a small, internal SMS notification program. The sole purpose of the program is to alert the firm's lead attorney when a prospective client submits a confidential case-intake form or completes a paid 15-minute consultation booking through this website.
The program does not send promotional, marketing, or solicitation messages to prospective or current clients. Messages flow only to the lead attorney's own phone, configured by the lead attorney himself.
Who receives SMS messages
The only recipient of SMS messages from this program is the lead attorney of Prefcap Law (Reza Chawla). The recipient phone number is configured by the lead attorney within the firm's internal admin dashboard. There is exactly one subscriber: the operator of the firm.
No prospective clients, current clients, opposing parties, vendors, or third parties receive SMS messages from this program. Prospective and current clients of the firm communicate with the firm via phone call, email, or in-person meeting — not via this SMS channel.
How opt-in works
Because the SMS program sends messages only to the firm's own lead attorney, opt-in occurs through the lead attorney explicitly configuring the SMS recipient phone number inside the firm's password-protected admin dashboard. This configuration step constitutes affirmative, written consent by the recipient (who is also the system operator) to receive messages from the program.
No public sign-up form, no checkbox at intake, and no third-party data source is used. The recipient phone number is entered manually by the lead attorney into the secured admin dashboard at /admin, accessible only to authenticated administrators.
What messages contain
Messages contain only the minimum operational information needed to alert the lead attorney that a new intake or booking has arrived. Two example messages:

Messages are transactional and informational. They do not contain marketing content, promotional offers, or solicitations to act.
How to opt out
At any time, the recipient may opt out of all messages from this program by replying with any of the following keywords:
- STOP
- UNSUBSCRIBE
- END
- QUIT
- CANCEL
An acknowledgement message will be sent confirming the opt-out, and no further SMS messages will be sent to that number. The recipient may also opt out by removing the phone number from the SMS recipient field in the admin dashboard.
How to get help
Reply with HELP or INFO to receive a brief message explaining the program and providing the firm's contact information. The firm may also be reached directly by phone at (713) 291-2875 during normal business hours.
Frequency & data rates
Message frequency varies with the volume of case intakes and paid consultation bookings received through the website. Typical frequency ranges from zero to several messages per day. There is no fixed schedule.
Message and data rates may apply per the recipient's carrier and mobile plan. The firm does not charge any fee for SMS messages, but standard rates from the recipient's mobile carrier apply.
Privacy & data handling
SMS messages may include limited information from the case-intake form (the prospective client's name, matter type, damages estimate, contact phone or email). This information is transmitted over the carrier SMS network solely to alert the lead attorney that an intake has been received. The full intake record is stored in the firm's encrypted database, not in any SMS log retained by the firm.
No SMS recipient phone number, message content, or related metadata is sold, shared with third-party advertisers, or used for any purpose other than operating this firm-internal alert program.
